Questions
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to give my name or contact details to see quotes?
No. The quote tool asks only for gender, date of birth, general health level, tobacco use, the death benefit you want and how long you want it for. Those answers are enough for carriers to quote you. Personal details like your name, address and medical history are only requested if you decide to apply.
Are the monthly prices shown the price I will pay?
They are the quotes each carrier gives for the class you chose. After underwriting, the carrier may keep that rate, improve it or adjust it. Nothing on this site guarantees a price or is an insurance offer.
What happens when I click Apply?
You enter your name, and the application is built from the exact quote you selected. It then continues on the carriers' secure application platform. You can leave and return whenever you want, and all signatures are electronic. Susman Insurance Agency, License 0B75129, handles the application.
Will I need a medical exam?
It depends on the carrier, the death benefit amount and your answers. Many carriers now offer accelerated underwriting for eligible applicants, meaning decisions happen without an exam. Each quote tells you whether an exam is required, possibly needed or not needed for that product.
Is a longer term better?
A term should last as long as the financial obligation it covers: a mortgage, dependent children, or a business loan. Longer terms cost more each month but lock in your rate for longer. Use the quote tool to see side-by-side pricing for 10, 15, 20, 25 and 30 years.
Does this site sell my information?
No. The quote tool does not collect your contact information. We do not buy, sell or share visitor data, and our measurement operates without cookies. The privacy page details everything collected and by whom.
