Anaheim Packing District
A 42,000-square-foot gourmet food hall that opened on May 31, 2014, housed in a restored 1919 Sunkist citrus packing facility.
The Anaheim Packing District occupies a historic building constructed in 1919 as a Sunkist citrus packing house. That building, a Spanish Colonial Revival structure, sits in downtown Anaheim and reflects the region's agricultural heritage—a time when the area was known for citrus production. The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2015.
In 2014, the historic structure was restored and reimagined as a modern food hall spanning 42,000 square feet. The Anaheim Packing District now houses dozens of local vendors, restaurants and artisan food producers alongside a farmers market, making it a gathering place for neighborhood residents and visitors. It is one of the few remaining packing houses in Orange County and the only one remaining in Anaheim.
